i'm totally in love with this song the minute i heard the vocalist sang the song. i got this song from Dini and i thanked her for this :) ..komawoyo Dini ssi. the band who sing this song - as i quote from the wikipedia - is F.T. Island (Korean : 에프티 아일랜드), Five Treasure Island, or FTI, is the name of a South Korean rock ballad band. they happen to be a new comer is Korean music industry since they first debut was in 2007. this song is the 1st song in their special album called The Refreshment which consist of 2 CDs.

the band members are:

- Lee Hong Gi (Korean : 이홍기) as a Lead vocal
- Lee Jae Jin ( Korean : 이재진) plays bass
- Oh Won Bin ( Korean : 오원빈) as Second vocal, rapping, also plays guitar, harmonica
- Choi Jong Hun ( Korean : 최종훈) as a Leader; also plays piano and guitar
- Choi Min Hwan (Korean : 최민환) in drums

and guess what ..all of the band members are still in High School!! they all are born in the 90's (sheesh!!) and Min-Hwan happens to be the youngest in that band. he's only 15 years old!!!! oh dear God, kids these days. anyway, no matter how young they are ..the most important thing is they are very talented.

oh almost forgot to tell you that one of the reasons why i love the song is ..Hong Gi's voice - the Lead vocal. dunno why ..but i always got the thing for that kind of voice. it has a special character ..rough voice that makes it more interesting to listen to. the lyric is deep but the music has the beat and some rap as well. btw, the MV is quite long .. 7 mins something. anyway, hope you enjoy the song as much as i do.

21 Jump Street - season 1

last nite i had a hot date with Mr. Depp. how can it not? was spending almost 5 hours straight just to look at his gorgeous-adorable-cute-irrisistable-good looking face like that. i think God was definitely in a very good mood when He created him. okay, that's enough ..i'm not writting this to discuss about his flawless face. i'm gonna talk about my review on the 21 Jump Street season 1.

i must admit that this TV series has brought back some memories. all those weird clothes and hair style, the English slangs back in the 80's (when did the last time you heard someone said, "you dig?" - that was hillarious!!) and not to mention the "actions" (when you see it now, bet you're rolling your eyes and i can see that big smile on your face). gosh ..i literally laugh out loud when watching this, yet ..i love it at the same time. i guess, i was around 11 or 12ish years old when i first watch this. i remember how i was blown away when seeing the cute officer named Tommy Hanson. i have never failed to watch this series every week, just to see him.

i have seen his previous movies, such as Private Resort and Cry Baby. honestly, i gotta say that he was selling what was good on him at that time ..his cute baby face. hey ..hey, don't curse me now. Johnny Depp himself will kill me if he heard me saying this. anyway, i'll get to my point later on. but you should've seen him wearing that sexy red short running around the resort trying to seduce girls ..then you'll know what i mean. i'm not saying that his acting was bad ..(gosh, it's hard for me to say this) but it's not a very good movie, i tell ya.

not to mention that Cry Baby movie. maybe ..i'm the one who doesn't get that movie. but i really don't understand ..what the hell was on his mind to play on this movie? it's pointless ..there's no meaning at all. it was ..pretty sad to see him there. he's wasting his talent ..his awesome acting. you cannot see the Great Johnny Depp in these movies. i know that it's just a turning point for him to be recognize as the real actor. and when he first played in 21 Jump Street, he was choosen because ..what else? .. the good look, of course.

then again, let's not talk about that thing now. it's a very sensitive issues for Johnny. at least, he's now known as a talented actor. back again to the 21 Jump Street, there are times where i can see that he's not very convinient in playing the character. of all the episodes in the first season .. episode 4: Don't Pet Your Teacher is my favourite but i hate it at the same time. why? because Hanson fell in love with his English teacher, that's why! i know it sounds pathetic ..but i just hate it. anyway, despite that thing ..i really like this episode. especially when Jeffrey and Hanson are having this particular conversation after the English class ended, as quoted below:

Jeffrey: so, you've got a girlfriend?
Hanson: maybe ..
Jeffrey: i ..uh ..got this disc player, it's a great gift item
Hanson: my girlfriend thinks that i'm a great gift item

that was brilliant! i mean, it's soo natural when he said that and i DO feel the same way as the girlfriend. he is literally a great gift item, indeed.

anyway, i just wanna let you know that i was really enjoying watching this series. so i hope that you would feel the same ...

butterflies in my stomach

I GOT MY 21 JUMP STREET SEASON 1 in my hand!!!!

hahahahahaahaha, seneng bgt! tadi tau2 pak pos dateng ke kantor and i was literally jumping in front of him *blush*. eniwei, gw cm dibilangin klo ada paket. honestly, i wasn't thinking about my 21 Jump Street. sumpah! soalnya Amazon bilang klo estimated arriving on 6 November. dan biasanya klo gw pesen film2 Johnny Depp ke Amazon, malah lbh sering dateng telat dibanding lbh cepet. but this is a sweet surprise!

asik2 ..nanti malem mau nonton aaaahh. was thinking to take a one day leave tomorrow, hehehe. gladly gw pesen wkt itu pas USD blm setinggi hari ini. and guess what? gw br aja td cek ke Amazon lagi, dan harga DVD yg gw beli (the same product!!) naik USD10. phew! gmn gw ngk tambah seneng lagi coba. whoa ..pas buka paketnya ..deg2an deh ..hehehe, gak penting ya gw :)? so mas Johnny ..nnt malem aku liat kamu yaaa ...

my (finally) futsal shoes

hahaha ..basi banget yah judulnya? eniwei, remember about my wish list blog? just wanna tell you klo gw udh mulai dapetin barang2 itu satu per satu ..yay!!


have told you that i got the gladiator shoes, right? dan sekarang ..futsal shoes!!! setiap Kamis kan gw slalu futsal, kebetulan gara2 puasa kemarin, kita semua sempet break dulu lah. lagian kynya ngk mgkn banget klo kita mst lari2 stlh buka puasa begitu. sehat engga ..tp yg ada pingsan. sbnrnya sm minggu kemarin, udh 3 kali futsal. tapi gw smpt ngk ikut 2 kali. gara2nya yang pertama ..masih males banget bo. i was still in my holiday mood. jd pinginnya di rumah aja. trs yang mgg sblmnya ngk ikutan soalnya yang main cowo semua. oh no!! i was there before ..seminggu sebelum puasa kan kita sempet futsal dan gw satu2nya cewe ..yang ada badan remuk! gilaaa ..capeeeek bgt. udh gitu personil-nya ngk banyak pula ..totally exhausted. gak lagi2 deh ..ampun. i was literally crawling.


so, minggu kemarin akhirnya gw ikut lah futsal. dan seperti yang mgkn udh kalian duga ..dengan bodohnya gw ngk bawa peralatan perang sama sekali!!! i left it at home. krn ngk enak sm yang lain, jdnya abis makan siang ..gw rela2in deh beli sepatu futsal. emang bukan Nike spt yg gw mau ..tp yg penting judulnya sepatu futsal, hahahah!! trs peralatan perang lainnya, i.e. kaos dan celana olahraga termasuk kaos kaki ..belanja lah gw di IS shop :). dengan berbekal sepatu baru, celana elmo, kaos spongebob dan kaos kaki ..jadi deh gw main futsal.


ampuun, mgkn krn udah lama bgt ngk olahraga ..rasanya badan beneran patah2! belom lagi waktu gw ngk sengaja nendang kaki-nya teguh. believe it or not, yang sakit bukannya dia tapi gw, huaaaa! trs sempet kebanting waktu rebutan bola ..sama teguh juga. pulang2 sampe rumah, kaki kanan gw bruises di mana2. klo buat bruises-nya sih ngk terlalu sakit ..tp badan rasanya pegel banget. nyaris ngk bisa jalan tuh besoknya. sampe sekarang bruises-nya msh keliatan bgt. sumpah, gw jd berasa ky org abis di-abuse ..hahahaha!

the long awaited holiday

gotta tell you that i finally had my long awaited holiday - after arranging it for months ago (with tears and sweat ..well, ok ..almost). just because of the first nite race for the F1, it's soo difficult for us to get the hotel. we, literally, almost given up if the online tour did not recommend us to try the next door hotel. anyway, here's the recap for the holiday ..

25th September 2008

feby, vida and i were arriving the airport at 6.15 a.m. dan ternyata kita salah turun pula! dan akhirnya mengharuskan kita untuk jalan hampir sekitar 1 km. lumayan lah ..jalan pagi :(, walaupun agak gempor juga krn geret2 koper. untungnya msh agak kosong, hehehe. akhirnya kita check in deh. i thought that it will be another chaos considering my last holiday to Bali back in Dec 07 for the new year. the line was not that long and the officer was quite helpful, phew! we managed to take some pictures while waiting for the plane ..

we arrived Batam airport slightly early than schedule. we went straight to Batam Center harbour to catch the earlier ferry. somehow, this trip seemed a lot easier than my last one when i went to Singapore through Batam. that was a NITEMARE, i tell you. anyway, this time ..it didn't happen. everything went smoothly ..well, except that it took us almost half a day to reach Singapore while if we're going straight from Jakarta ..it took us less than 2 hours flight. here's some of the pictures taken while we were in the ferry ..

finally ...we arrived in Singapore safe and sound :). we're sooo tired by the time we got in the hotel and yet ..nothing can stop us from wandering around. hey, we're in Singapore and we're officially on our HOLIDAY, yay!! and here's the pictures ..tada ..

our 2nd day in Singapore. we decided to walk around the neighbourhood - just to catch that familiar "Orchard feeling" we always have whenever we're here. apparently, Orchard was not as beautiful as always ..they're doing lots of renovation for some of the buildings. that includes Parangon, the Meridien ..and so on. the girls had decided that vida and me to become the tour guide for this trip. so, the night before ..vida and me had prepared for places to visit. well, things aren't always happen the way we want it to happen. it was raining ..very ..very hard. we almost didn't even make it to Takashimaya. once we got there ..we had our lunch at the food court downstair, hoping that the rain will stop when we finished our lunch. again ..the rain was getting harder by then ..so we decided to buy an umbrella for each of us. then we went to Suntec City for the (as vida said) "warm up race" ..

afterwards ..vida, magi and thelma went to see the "warm up race", leaving me and feby to wander around the mall. sumpah ya ..dari dulu sampe sekarang, gw rasanya nyasar mulu klo ke sini deh, hehehe. sebenernya sih klo diinget2, gw sm feby cm muter2 doang. tp ya itu ..scr i lack of navigational sense in my brain ..jadilah kita jalan2 ngk jelas sampe kaki pegel2. huaah, cuapeeekkk banget deh. tapi tetep doong, malemnya gw, vida and feby asik jalan2. biasalah ..sekitar Orchard ajah krn udh ngk sanggup jalan jauh lagi. magi and thelma stayed at the hotel ..they're just too tired to walk (cos they've been standing all day during the excercise) and didn't even bother for the sightseeing.

27th September 2008

vida, feby and me decided to go to IKEA. we used to go to the Alexandria but this time, we decided to go to Tampines. heard that this is even bigger than the old ones. none of us have been there before. it actually took us 27 minutes by MRT ..you can imagine how far was that. once we get there, we thought that it will be quite difficult for us to get there. but hey, you know what? they have shuttle bus to go around Giant, IKEA and Cold Stores since they are in the same complex ..sigh, see how easy these Singaporeans live?

when magi, thelma and vida went to see the qualification, feby and me went around the Orchard once again. well, actually ..we tried to go to Mustafa ..but we got lost and we had this "life threatening situation" (don't bother to ask!!) and so we decided just to walk around our hotel. never again in my life to step my foot there ..honestly.


28th September 2008

again ..this is a three people trip :). vida, feby and me went to Chinatown ..just to look around and bought some souveniers. almost went crazy ..soo many cute things to buy :). nice place ...

afterwards, vida had to left for the racing joining thelma and magi. feby and me?? we continued to stay at Chinatown just to look around and had our lunch there. after that we went back to the hotel, arranging our luggage. it was quite surprising to know that i didn't spend much for this trip ..luckily. secara ya ..ngk lagi sale dan kebetulan IDR lg turun against SDG, jdnya smua muahaaalll. males banget liat2nya ..paling beli cuma souvernir doang. malemnya gw sm feby ..again, jalan2 sekitar Orchard. tdnya kita mau muter2 ..tp krn ada racing, banyak jalan yang ditutup. ya udah, kita jalan sebentar trs balik lagi ke hotel. nonton F1 di TV ..hahaha!!


29th September 2008

kita decided to leave early. soalnya takut ngk dapet tempat di ferry, krn pesawat kita malah dimajuin jadi jam 4 sore yang tdnya jam 6. untungnya smua lancaaar banget ..again, gw ngk nyangka bisa selancar ini. well, despite rasa capek gara2 naik ferry. oh iya ..magi kali ini ngk ikut balik ke Jakarta, krn hrs ke Hong Kong for training. huaaah, ngebayang ngk sih btapa capeknya? eniwei, di ferry itu ..gw sm vida jatuh cinta sm anak laki2 yang duduk di depan kita ..huahahaha. bahasa gw yah :). abisnya anak itu lucu banget tampangnya. sumpah ..i actually have his picture with me ..but i won't share it with you ..hahahahaah! we arrived Jakatra around 6.15 p.m. it was a loooong journey. but then, we agreed to fly straight to Singapore next time ..no more ferries (which we thought more economical) ..trust me, it didn't!

that's the end of my holiday ..and i can't wait for the next one. will keep you posted :)
